The Legal Affairs Department is one of the departments included in the organizational structure of the University Presidency. It is administratively linked to University Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs. It consists of the Legal Consultation Division and Rights and Claims Division, headed by an employee who holds at least a bachelor’s degree in law, who is entrusted with many duties, the most notable of which are: providing legal consultations and expressing opinions on issues presented to it related to legal aspects, in addition to representing the university before the competent courts, as well as organizing guarantees and legal pledges for both employees and students.
