Coping with the lockdown due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the department of English/ College of Education at the University of Alhamdaniya held an online workshop entitled “Developing Speaking and Listening Skills in English.” The workshop was held in coordination and cooperation with the University of Manofia in Egypt. The one-hour online workshop included 3 parts of discussions where the presenters from the University of Manofia Dr. Ahmed Abdultawab, Mr. Adnan Al-Hammody, and Mr. Muhammad Talal from the University of Alhamdaniya, discussed about strategies for improving listening and speaking skills from learners’ and teachers’ perspectives.
